That’s me, second from the left. That statuesque lady in the middle is Bambi Dela Cruz, one of the two professional makeup artists who demonstrated the different looks that women can choose from. Depending on your skin tone, there is the right makeup for you, one that will bring out your natural beauty. To fully utilize makeup and accessories, you need not buy the most expensive brand, though admittedly the more pricey brands tend to give the most flattering effects. Allow me to share what I learned from the makeup workshop.
1. Shadow brush - you should have a short brush that cut full and square for a clean sweep of color
2. Liner brush - must be small, flat brush which is gently rounded to a point
3. Brow brush - get the one with firm bristles but are clipped at an angle to allow for a clean and even application of color to the brow’s course hairs.
4. Blush brush - a medium-full, round brush that is tapered at the sides to allow for more blending. Get the ones with the long handle.
If you missed this event, don’t fret! I heard through the grapevine they’re planning another event soon!
